Council Meetings and Minutes
Wondai Shire Council Meetings
From 19 July 2006, Wondai Shire Council holds its regular Council meetings every third Wednesday at 10:00am.at Council's office at the corner of Scott and Mackenzie Streets, Wondai.

Where Council's meeting schedule is varied - as occurs from time to time due to special circumstances or public holidays - any variations are advertised in the local media and on our web site.

Agenda items for any General Meeting are required to be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer by 9:00 am on the Monday a week prior to the meeting.

All Council meetings are open to the public, who may enter and leave the Council Chamber at any time unless the Council is in a Closed Meeting.

The Minutes for any particular Council Meeting are not officially confirmed until they've been adopted at a succeeding Council Meeting. Until this time they're not available for public viewing.

South Burnett Regional Council Meetings
Nanango Shire Council was merged into the South Burnett Regional Council (along with Kingaroy, Wondai and Murgon Shire Councils) on 15 March 2008 at the quadrennial local government elections.

The South Burnett Regional Council held its statutory post-election meeting on 4 April 2008. At this meeting, Council resolved to hold future meetings on a fortnightly basis from April-June 2008 according to the the schedule shown in the table below:
